With Chapter 2 Season 7, new alien artifacts were introduced in Fortnite. We at MeinMMO show you what you need the items for and where you can find them in Week 10 of the season.
What are alien artifacts used for? The alien artifacts are a new currency. They allow you to further upgrade your Kymera skin, giving it a full beard or even stalk eyes. The Kymera is an alien skin that can be unlocked in the Fortnite Battle Pass of Season 7 and can be customized as you like.
When do the artifacts come out? New artifacts appear every Thursday at reset. As they spawn in new locations, we will show you their exact locations. You can also find them in cosmic chests if you’re lucky.
Locations of the alien artifacts in Week 10
How to find the artifacts: The locations of the artifacts vary from week to week. If you missed your artifacts for the last week, that’s not a problem. You can still visit the previous artifacts from the past weeks to complete your Kymera.
Here are the locations of the alien artifacts in Week 10:
- Artifact 1 – Weeping Woods: The artifact is located southeast of Weeping Woods between three trees.
- Artifact 2 – Misty Meadows: You can find the artifact southeast of Misty Meadows in a blue container that is on a satellite dish.
- Artifact 3 – Catty Corner: The artifact can be found in a scaffold of solar panels south of Catty Corner.
- Artifact 4 – Coral Castle: The location is directly in an elevator shaft at the former prison.
- Artifact 5 – Slurpy Swamp: West of Slurpy Swamp, you can find the last artifact of this week under a hut on a swamp dock.
The artifacts are relatively easy to access, but sometimes they require certain prerequisites, such as building up or gliding to certain locations. If you want the exact locations, here is a video from the YouTuber “EveryDay FN” linked for illustration.
Important tip: Make sure to collect all artifacts, as they boost your progress and give four artifacts for each collection. Don’t rely on the cosmic chests; they occasionally drop artifacts, but they are not a good source for farming.
