Today, on April 24, Epic is releasing Update 3.6 in Fortnite. The Fortnite servers on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and iOS are going offline for maintenance. Fortnite will be unavailable and report outages. With the patch, the sticky grenade will likely make its debut. Various improvements are coming for the Save the World mode!

While the weekly updates were usually scheduled for Thursday in the past, Epic is releasing the new Patch 3.6 today, Tuesday. Little is known about the Battle Royale mode. The sticky grenade will likely make its debut, and an in-game announcement has been present since yesterday.
How long will the Fortnite servers be offline?
Furthermore, Epic has published a roadmap for the Save the World mode – the first part goes live today.
There are conflicting statements regarding the exact start of the maintenance. The game shows the time as 8:00 AM. However, it is more likely to start around 10 AM German time. Matchmaking will be disabled as usual at 09:30 AM!
Next week, Patch 4.0 will bring Season 4. This could be a major update for Fortnite with several changes, perhaps even to the map – there is a comet coming.
When will the servers be back and when will Fortnite be running again? There are no official details on when Fortnite will be back today. But this looks like a minor update. Generally, Fortnite is back online between 11 AM and 12 PM our time.
Update: We were right: Around 11:49 AM, Epic reported – Fortnite is back. The Fortnite servers are online again.
Sticky grenade is coming – how will it work?
After the pocket fort was introduced as a grenade two weeks ago, the sticky grenade is now the next projectile.
Like the remote detonation charge, the grenades stick to surfaces – but also to players! It is still unclear whether a direct hit will also eliminate an enemy with full shield. It is also uncertain what will happen to the remote detonation charge.
It could potentially be removed from the game in exchange for the sticky grenade.

Roadmap for Save the World presented
In the subreddit for the PvE mode of Fortnite, the developer Epic presented a roadmap for the coming weeks – and there are some highlights among them. Among other things, energy ammo will be improved today, and in May, you can also look forward to the new perk rolling!
