Today, on Tuesday, September 18, the Fortnite servers on all platforms (PC / Mac, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, iOS, Android) will receive an update to unlock the Pocket Fortress and signal the end of Season 5. How long will the servers be down? When can you get back to it?
When will the Fortnite servers be taken down? At 09:30 AM German time, you will find no active games in the lobby, and at 10 AM you will be kicked from the game. With the server maintenance, the High-Stakes event will also end.
When will the Fortnite servers be back online? If everything goes smoothly, you should be able to start again between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM. As usual, you will find out when that is and what the patch notes have in store for you at MeinMMO.
This is what the update 5.41 brings for the Battle Royale mode: The new, improved Pocket Fortress with the name Pocket Fortress is coming. It is significantly larger than the small Pocket Fortress and is therefore particularly interesting for teams.
Is Epic going to signal the end of Season 5 today? The cube – dubbed Kevin by the community – continues on its path. Whether Epic will make further changes to the map with today’s patch that indicate the end of the currently running Season 5 is still unknown.
In the past weeks, however, smaller changes have been made to the map repeatedly. Maybe the cube will finally reveal how the story will continue in Season 6.
This is what the update brings for Save the World mode: In the current week, the PvE faction can look forward to week 7 of the Horde Challenges. Further content is not yet known. Here too, we will have to wait for the patch notes.
