In Fortnite: Battle Royale there is currently an exploit with the jetpacks going around. Due to the bug, players can fly with the parts without a time limit and can easily win.
What is this exploit? In Fortnite: Battle Royale, it is not uncommon for certain bugs or exploits to spoil the gaming experience. After major updates, it sometimes happens that exploits arise. The good thing is that the team at Epic Games fixes these quickly.
Players have now discovered an exploit with jetpacks in Season 5. This does not make players invulnerable like other cheats, but it helps in winning. Because jetpacks are actually supposed to work for a limited time and elevate the player into the air. After a few seconds, they overheat. However, through the exploit, one stays in the air indefinitely.

This is what players do: On reddit, a user shows what this exploit looks like. It is clear that it is the combination of lava and the jetpack that causes this exploit. Timing is also important, which we will not describe in detail here.
If you execute the exploit, the jetpack breaks, and you fly steeply upwards. After a certain time, you then hover at the maximum height that a jetpack can reach, in the sky. From up there, you can then eliminate unsuspecting enemies who do not expect other players floating high above them.
The reddit user explains that he stayed in the sky until the storm had completely closed in and he died from its damage.
It is unclear whether this bug can only be exploited in the Hot-Sole tournament for TheGrefG’s skin, or whether it also extends to other game modes.
