In the professional scene of Fortnite , a player’s behavior is currently being heavily discussed. People believe that player Bxrry is being abused by his stepfather and that he is being forced to delete evidence.
This is the situation: A YouTuber named 77 Bxrry is currently at the center of discussions in the Fortnite community. He posted a video 3 days ago showing how his streaming setup was destroyed. Allegedly, his gaming setup, which was worth several thousand dollars including the PC, was destroyed by his stepfather.
He also claims that he was hit by his stepfather.
In response, a fundraising campaign was started on Gofundme, which aims to benefit Bxrry with a goal of $1800 so that the player can get his setup back.
On Monday evening, Bxrry then released a video in which he thanked his viewers for their support and explained that he was doing well.
He wrote in the comments after the video was released that he was forced to record the video. He was also allegedly forced to delete the video that showed the destroyed PC setup. He then deleted his comment moments later on purpose – viewers took screenshots of it.
Next, he started a livestream on YouTube and told his viewers that they no longer needed to help him and that he was doing well.
Hidden cry for help in the livestream?
This seemed strange to the viewers: Many viewers were apparently surprised by the sudden turn that the player was doing well after all. Additionally, the comment that his stepfather was forcing him to make the video caused controversy.
During the livestream, viewers wrote that Bxrry should cough if his stepfather was forcing him off-camera to stream and that he needed help. According to Reddit, Bxrry then coughed several times. One cough can be seen in this video:
Situation is unclear
There are some players who doubt the situation and claim that it is all fake. In other places, alleged friends and clan members claim that it is all real and that his stepfather would be abusing him. It is hard to determine whether the situation is real or fake.

On Twitter, user TuskiTV writes: “I am Barry’s real-life friend. He needs help. A lot has gotten out of control. A LOT. I have information on this […],” Barry retweeted it.
People claim that the player is starting this drama to gain attention for his channel and that the story might be fake.
