Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS, Switch & Xbox One) received special challenges for the game’s birthday. In these, you can earn unique birthday gifts and dance in front of a birthday cake. How to do that and how you can find the birthday cake, you’ll learn here!
Happy Birthday! A year ago Fortnite was released, at least the PvE version, which is now called “Save the World”. But the later released Battle Royale mode is also celebrating today. And since you celebrate a birthday best with gifts, there are some in PvP through your own birthday challenges. You can collect all of them if you’re diligent.
What you need to do to complete the Birthday Challenges
There are a total of four gifts: To receive all of them, you need to complete the following three challenges. Gift number four will be given once all other tasks are completed:
- Play 14 matches: This task completes itself. You just need to start a round 14 times and finish it somehow. Cancelling does not count, but getting eliminated right away does. So play at your own risk! As a reward, you get 5,000 experience points. Ideal for leveling up Drift or Ragnarok.
- Deal 1,000 points of damage to opponents: This task is also trivial. You don’t even need to get kills, and it doesn’t matter which weapon you use. Combine this challenge with an open kill or damage task from Season 5. For this, you will receive a Birthday Emote.
- Dance in front of 10 different birthday cakes: This task is a bit tricky. The birthday cakes are spread all over the map. Here is our comprehensive guide to the birthday cakes. If you complete this task, you will receive a special spray paint.
Anyone who completes all four special tasks will receive a back bling in the shape of a birthday cake.
Attention, for a limited time only! Don’t take too long for the new birthday tasks. The new challenges are only valid until August 7, 2018.
