In Fortnite the big live event “Collision” will start today, June 4th. We at MeinMMO will be live covering the events of the live event as well as the server downtime for new Season 3.
What kind of event is this? At the end of a season or chapter, Fortnite regularly starts big live events. Players can participate live in Fortnite simultaneously and experience the event together, or they can watch it in the stream with the big Fortnite streamers and follow their reactions to the spectacle directly.

When does the live event start? Today, on June 4th, the big live event takes place before the start of Season 3 Chapter 3. You can participate in the event at 10:00 PM German time. This time is confirmed by Fortnite itself with a countdown, which you can find in your lobby.

Game Mode “Collision” – How to participate
How you can participate: If you want to experience the event live in-game, you should log in on time. Depending on how large the demand is, there may be overcrowded servers, which could lead to waiting queues.
At the finale of Season 2 Chapter 3, there will be an event mode called “Collision”. You will be able to start this mode only from 9:30 PM. You will then be matched with three other players. When the live event starts, the hatch beneath your skin will open and you will be part of the final confrontation between IO and the Seven.
Can you repeat it? No. “Collision” is a one-time event and does not offer an option for repetition. If you want to see the end of Season 2 Chapter 3 again later, you should record it yourself or refer to YouTube videos. If that’s too tedious for you, you can of course also watch a video of the event on MeinMMO in a timely manner.
You will receive rewards: As a reward for your participation in the “Collision” event, you will receive a special loading screen and lobby music. So fighting against the IO is worth it for you.

What happens at the live event “Collision”?
This is known: Fortnite itself has already released a teaser trailer for the event “Collision”. You can expect a fight against the IO and the apocalypse machine. This heralds the end of Season 2 and the start of Season 3.
In the trailer, we see characters belonging to the Seven bravely walking towards the giant waking “Bear-Mech” to confront the IO.
Sloane, the leader of the Imagined Order, could not assert herself with her troops on the Island of the Seven and was gradually pushed back and stripped of her occupied places. Now she has no choice but to once again destroy a reality with a giant machine. The Seven therefore pull out the newly refurbished Mech, which is supposed to put an end to the haunting once and for all:

Many people are unsure about what will happen with the new map and what destruction players will witness again. Since the Mech has to face the IO and the apocalypse machine, it is clear that the Seven will unleash all their weapons to contain the threat. Fans even speak of such an extreme live event that the map could be blasted into space.
