In Fortnite: Battle Royale, the challenges for week 9 in Season 5 are finally known. We will show you how to solve them and rack up points in the Battle Pass.
The new challenges from week 9, Season 5 are finally active in Fortnite. You have until the end of Season 5 to complete these challenges for the Battle Pass and be rewarded with experience points and levels.
Free and paid: As known from the past weeks, three of these tasks are available for all players for free. We will show you these in the first table displayed here.
For the four challenges in the second listing, you need the paid Battle Pass. However, you can still purchase it with a clear conscience, as your previous progress from the free version will be credited there.

Challenge 1 – Deal damage to opponents with explosive weapons
Tricky but doable: Explosive weapons are still difficult to use. But fortunately, it’s enough for you to deal damage. Kills are not necessary. So throw grenades or use the rocket launchers commonly found in the endgame.
Challenge 2 – Earn stunt points in a shopping cart or all-terrain vehicle
Fun task: All-terrain vehicles are quite rare, but shopping carts are more common. You earn stunt points by gliding through the air with the vehicles. Ideally, place a jump pad on a ramp and let yourself be catapulted into the air. This way, you can quickly accumulate the required 150,000 trick points. Challenge 3 – Follow the treasure map from Shifty Shafts (hard)
Challenge 5 – Stage 1: Search a chest at Haunted Hills (Battle Pass only)
A new stage task: This task has multiple phases again. In phase 1, you only need to open a chest in Haunted Hills. Ideally, you should go to the bell tower of the church there. Once you have opened the chest, you will be assigned a new chest in a different area.
Blood for the Tomato God! The new region of Tomato Temple is ideal for wild shootouts with shotguns and submachine guns due to its winding paths.
Challenge 7 – Eliminate opponents with the assault rifle (Battle Pass only)
The usual kill job: This task should be straightforward. Assault rifles are still good all-round weapons that are commonly found. So 5 kills shouldn’t be too hard.
