Since the release of Metal Gear Solid 3 about 20 years ago, the game has kept a secret: Who is the voice actress of Eva? Only the pseudonym Suzetta Miñet was mentioned in the credits. Who is Jodie Benson? Jodi Benson is a famous voice actress from the USA who has lent her voice to many iconic characters. She began her career on Broadway; her breakout role was as Ariel, the Little Mermaid in the 1989 film of the same name.

It was precisely this flirtatious nature that led to Jodi Benson’s name being changed to a pseudonym. It might have been too sensitive and could have correlated with Jodi Benson’s “family-friendly” image.

How did the name come about? The pseudonym Suzetta Miñet is based on Jodi Benson’s pet. Her dog, with whom she grew up, was named Suzette Monet. The director derived the pseudonym from this name.
