Are you among the players who have never received an epic item from the defeated world bosses in Throne and Liberty? Amazon Games now explains the loot rules in detail.
What about the loot from world bosses? Since the launch of Throne and Liberty, players have repeatedly complained about the low drop rates from world bosses. Even with regular participation, many have been unable to take home an epic piece of loot. Therefore, Amazon Games announced several measures:
- Measure 1 (already live): There will be more portals for peaceful world bosses in the future to divide players into more versions of the battle and thus bring more loot to the people.
- Measure 2 (already live): In the reward chest for participating in a world boss, there might be an additional loot chest where you can select one of the epic drops from the respective world boss.
- Measure 3: In an article, the developers want to explain in detail how the loot distribution for world bosses and other content works.

Rules for Every Situation
What about the article? It has been online for a short time (via playthroneandliberty.com). Below, we summarize the most important points for you.
Loot Rules for Peaceful World Bosses and Guild Raids
When a boss dies in peaceful mode, the loot is distributed based on the individual contribution of all players. You need to make a minimum contribution to be eligible to receive loot from the boss, with two types of loot available:
- Contribution loot: Each item is distributed randomly based on individual contribution.
- Random drops: Each item is randomly assigned to players who have not received any of the contribution drops.
Example: A world boss drops the following loot when defeated:
- Contribution drop: 1x sword, 1x mask, 1,000 Sollant
- Random drop: 1x boots
Assuming you meet the required minimum contribution: If your contribution is 3 percent of the total, you have a 3 percent chance of receiving the sword or the mask. All participants in the fight who have made the minimum contribution also have the same chance of getting the boots, regardless of the total contribution. You can only receive one drop in any case.
Loot Rules for PvP World Bosses
In world and arch-bosses in conflict mode, loot is awarded through a two-stage process. First, the loot is allocated to a guild, and then to the players within the guild. The chance for loot for each guild is based on the total contribution made by all members.
Note: By dying in battle (even by another player), a character loses 70 percent of their previously earned individual contribution, which also lowers the guild’s contribution.
Of course, there is also a minimum contribution that a guild must meet for your contribution to be counted. The distribution of loot items is then done randomly according to the guild’s contribution. Once a guild has been assigned a piece of loot, all participating players within that guild have the same chance to receive the item.
Example: A boss drops the following loot:
- Drops: 1x sword, 1x mask, 1000 Sollant
If players A, B, and C contribute 10%, 15%, and 20% respectively and all belong to the same guild, the total contribution of the guild is 45%. This means that the guild has a 45% chance to receive the sword and the mask. If the guild receives the mask, players A, B, and C have the same chance of getting it.
Loot Rules for Other World Content
When farming in the open world or in abyss dungeons, during quests, contracts, dynamic events, and the enemy loot from co-op dungeons, different rules apply:
- When an enemy is killed, the loot is assigned to the player who dealt damage to the enemy first.
- If the player is in a group, the loot is instead assigned to the player’s group. In this case, the enemy’s loot items are distributed to all group members with the same probability. Exception: A group member is too far away and did not engage in the fight.
All items, Sollant, and experience are distributed evenly whenever possible. Example: If there are 10 items for a group of 5 players, each player receives 2 items. If even distribution is not possible, the system distributes the additional loot randomly.
