What are the solutions? The following items will maximize your points:
- Top: Pagos Shirt, Arachne Shirt of Slaying and Scouting
- Pants: Pagos Tights, Arachne Tights of Slaying and Scouting
- Shoes: Dawnlight Boots of the Adventurer
- Bracelet: Fluorite Bracelet
Remember, every armor slot must be filled – not just the ones the Masked Rose wants to see. Otherwise, there will be point deductions.
Where you can find the items, you can check in the FFXIV database “GarlandTools”.
Is there a cheap option? To get the full amount of MGP, you need to reach 80 points. This can be easily achieved this week with the following items:
- Dawnlight Boots of the Adventurer: Buy from the Lost and Found Manager for 100 Gil
- Fluorite Bracelet: Buy in Ul’dah from Sileas (X: 10 / Y: 13) for 2,544 Gil

What is the clothing critique? It is a weekly challenge in FFXIV. The community must pool their knowledge and try to guess which clothes the NPC Masked Rose wants to see. As a reward for reaching at least 80 points, you receive 60,000 MGP.
If you haven’t unlocked the clothing critique yet, here’s how:
- Quest Name: Show us your clothes
- Location: Gold Saucer (X: 4.8 / Y: 6.1)
- NPC: Lewena
- Requirements: Access to the Gold Saucer
After that, you can present to the NPC Masked Rose in the Gold Saucer (X: 7.2 / Y; 7.4) every week starting Friday and try to complete his quest.
