In Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, players who have been participating for 720 days will receive the iconic Cloud outfit from the classic Final Fantasy VII as a veteran reward.
In the last producer letter, Final Fantasy XIV’s mastermind Naoki Yoshida announced that players would receive Cloud’s outfit from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children as a 720-day loyalty bonus. FF VII was released in 1997, even came to PC, and is considered one of the highlights of the series. Cloud Strife was the protagonist of the cult classic.
Especially for players on PlayStation, this may be a small consolation prize, as they have long been wishing for a Final Fantasy VII for their console.
