When does Ones to Watch start? Ones to Watch begins on the same date as the official release of FIFA 23 – that is, on Friday, September 30, 2022. The event starts at 19:00, and if it proceeds like last year, the second OTW team with more special cards will appear exactly one week later.
What is the OTW event? The OTW event brings Ones-to-Watch cards into play. These are special FUT cards based on the biggest transfers of the summer in football. For example, Robert Lewandowski would be a candidate for an OTW card, as the striker transferred from Bayern Munich to Barcelona over the summer.
The special feature of these cards is that they are dynamic items. They improve every time the player receives a TOTW– or Man-of-the-Match card.
It is also worth mentioning that an OTW card is part of the pre-order bonuses of the Ultimate Edition. So there is a chance to get such a card early if you have pre-ordered.

The cards are already known: In recent days, EA Sports has confirmed OTW cards on the official FIFA Twitter channel. The confirmed cards include:
- Renato Sanches (PSG)
- Antonio Rüdiger (Real Madrid)
- Tchouameni (Real Madrid)
- Bergwijn (Ajax Amsterdam)
- Adams (Leeds United)
- Schlotterbeck (Borussia Dortmund)
- Di Maria (Juventus Turin) – Squad Building Challenge
However, it is still unknown whether these OTW cards will appear in Team 1 or 2.
These are the current leaks: The now quite well-known FUT leaker FUTSherriff (via Twitter) has published leaks about the first OTW team. We show you the allegedly players, but point out that leaks should always be treated with caution, as the final team could look very different.
