When does FIFA 22 start? Basically, you can start with FIFA 22 right now. The game is available in the respective online stores for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC, and can be downloaded.

4:35 PM: It was announced via EA Help that the Ones-to-Watch issues should be resolved when the event goes live this evening. At that time, you should be able to safely open your player pack.

10:30 AM: Currently, there are no issues on the FIFA servers. Those who have the game can currently access the online modes (and the offline modes as well). Experience has shown that there can be issues, especially during early events in Ultimate Team. We will have to wait and see how the situation develops this evening for the OTW event (and when more players join the game).
10:15 AM: With the release day, the OTW event in FIFA 22 starts this evening. However, there was a setback for pre-orders: they are supposed to receive one of the OTW players today. Due to an error, the OTW packs were sent out early today and contain incorrect players. Those who have already opened their pack may have to wait for a correction.
10:00 AM: Today marks the start of the new season in FIFA 22 for all players. Some were already able to play before through early access or the Ultimate Edition – but now the official start has been given.
