The current Weekend League in FIFA 22 has been extended. This gives you one more day to secure strong cards from the Bundesliga TOTS.
Until when does the Weekend League run? Originally, the current Weekend League in FIFA 22 was supposed to run until Wednesday morning, May 18. Since the TOTS event, the timings for the “FUT Champions Finals” – that is, the Weekend League – have already been adjusted and extended.
However, on Tuesday evening, there were server issues that prevented players from joining. As a result, some couldn’t take full advantage of the Weekend League.
Therefore, FIFA 22 is extending the current Weekend League by 24 hours. It will now run until Thursday, May 19, at 09:00 AM. This was announced by the FIFA Direct Communication channel on Twitter.
Thus, the current Weekend League is almost the opposite of the previous week – there the FUT Champions Finals ended unexpectedly early.
The Weekend League Rewards are worth it right now thanks to TOTS
Take your chance: If you have been participating in the Weekend League and have already managed to collect some points, but haven’t finished yet – you should consider playing a few more matches.
The rewards currently include the Team-of-the-Season cards from the Bundesliga. There are some incredibly strong cards available that can directly improve any team. If you rank high enough in the FUT Champions Finals, you have a chance to receive these cards in your Player Picks.
With the extra time, you have gained a considerable amount of time to collect the necessary points for further ranks. Additionally, many strong players will have already completed their Weekend League matches long ago.
So you might have a good chance of ranking up and receiving better rewards.
