In FIFA 20, the cover star of the Ultimate Edition is known: It is Zinédine Zidane, who will also be featured as an Icon in FUT 20.
This is the cover player: Today, on July 30th, EA Sports finally revealed the last cover star of FIFA 20. The choice fell on the Frenchman Zinédine Zidane.
Zidane was once one of the greats on the football field. With the national team, he became World Champion in 1998 and European Champion in 2000, and he also won several club titles, including the Champions League trophy in the 2001/02 season. His great successes were achieved with Juventus Turin and Real Madrid.
Zidane was named FIFA World Player of the Year three times before he ended his active playing career in 2006. Since then, he has been working as a football coach – and he was the first and only coach to win the Champions League three times in a row.
In other words, with Zidane, EA Sports has definitely found a worthy cover star for the FIFA 20 Ultimate Edition.

Why was this cover a “secret”? Last week, EA revealed the cover players of the Standard Edition and the Champions Edition: Eden Hazard and Virgil van Dijk. They announced that the last cover star would be revealed at a later time. When and why – this was not disclosed.
Now we know: It is Zidane.
Zidane is also an Icon in FIFA 20 Ultimate Team
Why is Zidane on the cover? Those who haven’t been very active in FIFA over the past few years might wonder why Zidane is on the cover. After all, he hasn’t been an active player in years.
The answer: He returns as an Icon to the virtual pitch. Icons are only available in the Ultimate Team mode. They include players who have shown outstanding performance in the past and left a lasting impression on the world football stage. They are no longer active as professionals.
