WoW Forever does without classic servers and realms and instead relies on layers. Learn how to see your group members despite different instances here at MeinMMO.
How can you find your group when you can’t see them?
If you are in a group but cannot see your group members, it is because you are on different layers.
This is how you resolve it:
- Look down to the left of your screen
- There you should find a blue message with a red arrow above your chat
- Click on it and you will be asked if you want to update the world now
- Confirm and you will be taken to your group leader’s instance
Is there another way to switch instances?
No, that is not possible. You can only switch layers if you are in a group with players from other layers.
You can only influence which players you meet by changing your preferred language in the settings.
