It’s time for our MeinMMO format “MMORPG News in two minutes.” We summarize the most important news about the best genre in the world for you. Look forward to the upcoming birthday of WoW, a major update for Pax Dei, the hot launch phases of New World as well as Throne and Liberty and much more.
The highlights of the week:
- New World Aeternum has been released for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Despite a long list of known issues, the launch went relatively smoothly.
- Problems were more about interactions on the servers. Many PC players are disappointed with the adjustments of the new version and vent their frustration on the console community.
- Moreover, there have been heated discussions about how reasonable it is to level up to the maximum level in a very short time, only to complain about missing endgame content.
- If you’re new to Aeternum, you can find our overview of all guides related to New World here. And here are 5 reasons to give New World a chance.
- Fun fact: A new video game series from Netflix takes inspiration from New World, wanting to show you things that the MMORPG does not offer.
What else has happened? Throne and Liberty remains a major topic. For example, Patch 1.3 went live and included various improvements for gameplay, dungeons, and more. Additionally, there was the first ban wave for bot users, and the early-start guilds were sent back to their old servers for using an unauthorized transfer.
