A fan of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) made an epic trailer to the music from the new Tomb Raider movie. The trailer perfectly captures the mood of the battle royale shooter from Bluehole and instantly makes you want to play a round in the zone!
The battle royale shooter PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds may no longer be the sole champion in the genre, but the game about thrilling survival battles in the zone still has its own unique appeal. The realistic weapons, the infamous vehicle physics, and the gameplay that is both tactical and chaotic are always worth a try.
Especially after seeing this fan trailer!
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in its purest form!
The PUBG player “Awkward Monkey” has spent a lot of time in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds and created his own fan trailer from a massive amount of video footage. The trailer showcases typical PUBG gameplay.
- Players jump out over the zone
- They desperately search for weapons
- Car rides lead to inadvertently funny physics anomalies
- Masses of people get brutally gunned down
- Moments of strategizing and sneaking are interrupted by wild action sequences
Trailer music from Tomb Raider meets PUBG
All of this is well-known to every PUBG player. But what makes the trailer so special is the excellent soundtrack that Awkward Monkey incorporated. It is a cover of the song “Survivor” by “2Wei”.
The theme fits perfectly with PUBG. Some viewers might still remember it from the second trailer for the new Tomb Raider movie, as the song gave goosebumps even there.
Jürgen’s conclusion: You immediately want to play!
In the trailer, the music along with the excellently edited scenes from the game immediately gives me the urge to play a round of PUBG as soon as possible. And that, even though I am actually a big Fortnite fan!
