Best OLED TV of the Year 2024 Comes from Samsung
Which is the best OLED TV? The best premium OLED TV is according to EISA, the Samsung QE65S95D for 2024-2025. With a recommended retail price (RRP) of 2,599 euros, the television is not exactly affordable for a 65-inch diagonal. The TV is also available in 55 and 77 inches, but you will pay over 4,000 euros for those sizes. The television offers a resolution of 3840×2160 (4K).
Technically, this is not a pure OLED TV, but a model with “Quantum Dot OLED” technology (QD-OLED). This is a hybrid technology that combines the best of both worlds. The biggest difference is that the subpixel structure of QD-OLED panels is different from that of conventional OLEDs. As a result, QD-OLEDs offer significantly better brightness than OLEDs and a wider coverage of color spaces.
How is the TV rated? The internationally recognized experts from rtings.com rate the TV at “mixed usage” with 9.0 out of 10 possible points. The experts praise the colors as “vivid, bright, and true to nature” and state that the model delivers excellent peak brightness in HDR.
