In May there will be the next expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. We are giving you an exclusive insight into the first preview cards of the new expansion.
Which cards are involved? The Pokémon trading cards have been a popular Pokémon item for many years and multiple generations. Especially in recent years, there has been a huge hype again around the popular Pokémon cards, which you can not only collect but also use in battles.
New expansions for the Pokémon Trading Card Game are regularly released, bringing new cards. The next expansion, which will be released, is called Carmine & Purple – Masquerade in Twilight
and revolves around the main games Pokémon Carmine and Purple released for the Nintendo Switch .
We were allowed to take an exclusive look at 5 cards from the new expansion, which we do not want to withhold from you.

Below you will find the exclusive insight into the 5 cards from the new expansion. These include the evolution line of Froxy and 2 additional cards.
Froxy (Basic card)
- 60 HP
- Attacks: Swarm Out and Plop
Amphizel (Stage 1)
- 90 HP
- Attack: Stunning Water
Quajutsu ex (Stage 2)
- 310 HP
- Teracrystal Ability
- Attacks: Shinobi Blade and Illusion Offensive
Phione (Basic card)
- 70 HP
- Attacks: Summon and Energy Pressure
Blood Moon Ursaluna ex (Basic card)
- 260 HP
- Ability: Routine Skill
- Attack: Blood Moon
Other cards from the expansion are not yet known. However, on the official Pokémon page, besides the cards presented here, Fatalitcha-ex, Katapuldra, and Magcargo are also mentioned as Teracrystal Pokémon-ex. Additionally, the popular ASS-CLASS cards will also be found in the expansion.
When is the expansion coming out? The expansion Masquerade in Twilight
will be released on May 24, 2024. It will contain over 160 cards, including a dozen new Pokémon-ex cards, over 30 Trainer cards, and many more.
