At Evolve , the bonus for buyers of the game has been multiplied by ten. Additionally, some monsters have had their effectiveness restricted.
30,000 Silver Keys for all Founders of Evolve
Evolve has now been Free2Play on PC for nearly a week and is currently still in the “Beta” status of this new version. Since all content can now be earned with in-game currency, some buyers of the version felt a bit neglected when they found out that they were only receiving 3,000 Silver Keys (the new currency) as a reward. The uneasy feeling in their stomachs was further intensified when players noticed that 3,000 Silver Keys can be earned in about an hour of playtime, and even the first login into the game rewards 1,500 Keys.
However, Turtle Rock Studios listened to the community’s complaints and has multiplied the reward for the “Founder” status by ten. Anyone who logged in as a buyer of the game since the latest patch will be rewarded with an additional 27,000 Silver Keys. This allows for shopping to one’s heart’s content, as this amount can be used to buy multiple characters or skins.
Widespread Nerfs for Many Monsters
The patch also addressed several other issues, making multiple changes to the game’s balance. In particular, the monsters have had their strength reduced across the board. Wraith, Gorgon, and Elder Kraken lose nearly 10% of their health at Stage 2 and 3, and the Wraith now has to deal with longer cooldown times for her abilities.
For all monsters, the energy costs to level up to the next stage have been increased. This should give hunters a bit more time to hunt the monster before it comes to the final “Stage 3 battle” at the generator.
Additionally, there were some performance improvements, especially since the game’s shaders caused issues on many machines. Anyone who previously had graphics problems while gaming should take a new look.
