Fortnite will collaborate with Lego in the future to provide special content within the game. There will also be a free Lego skin and numerous Lego outfits. We summarize the most important points for you.
What’s happening in Fortnite? In Fortnite, the new Chapter 5, Season 1 has begun. This brought, among other things:
The season was introduced with a live event, which also briefly introduced new modes – including the new Lego collaboration with Fortnite.
This will bring various things, especially a new mode and a lot of Lego outfits. Additionally, you can get a free skin.
When does the new Lego mode start?
All known information about the Lego mode: The new Lego mode is set to launch on December 7, 2023 in Fortnite.
What it will be about is only partially known so far. It seems to be a Lego adaptation of the Fortnite world, based on current teaser images.
In an announcement, Fortnite and Lego spoke of a “brand new survival crafting adventure” that players will experience in Fortnite.
A short teaser was also provided by the Big Bang event that concluded the last season. There, one could already see what the world looks like, that there will be battles against creatures, and how resources are gathered. You can find the Lego section here in the video at 4:18:
Free Lego skin available for Fortnite
How do you get the free skin? The new skin is called “Explorer Emilie” and is currently being distributed jointly by Lego and Fortnite. To get the explorer in Fortnite, you need to:
- Create a “Lego Insiders” account (more information can be found on the Lego website)
- Connect this account with your Epic account
- Start Fortnite to receive the skin and a Lego variant
The pickup will then be possible starting December 7. And then even more Lego variants will land in Fortnite.
Over 1,200 Lego skins coming to Fortnite
These are the new versions: The new update also includes the potential for countless new outfit variants in Fortnite. Over 1,200 Lego outfits are expected to be available. Some examples can be seen in this post from “Lego Fortnite”:
How do you get them? As of now, you will automatically receive the Lego skins for the outfits you own. So check your Fortnite outfit locker starting December 7 to see which Lego variants you can use once the new mode becomes available. Some emotes should also be usable with them.
