Most people probably know Matthew Perry as Chandler from Friends, and he also shows this comedic talent in his guest appearance in Scrubs. He plays Murray Marks, an air traffic controller who loves to joke around. J.D. meets him after he identifies him as a kidney donor for a patient.
However, it turns out that he is not the patient’s son. This creates a moral dilemma, as Murray does not want to donate a kidney to him because he has issues with him. However, J.D. still manages to convince him.
Murray fits wonderfully as a guest into the series. With his acting, he captures the timing and pace of the show, and his story is one of the best patient stories. In this episode, Matthew Perry even directed.
