8. Jason Bateman as Mr. Sutton

Jason Bateman portrays the garbage man Mr. Sutton in Scrubs. However, after he is treated by J.D., there is no thank you, which completely confuses J.D. After he heads to him with Turk and gets attacked by bouquets, he learns that Sutton does not thank him because, as a garbage man, he never receives thanks himself.
Although Jason Bateman only appears in one episode, his profession as a garbage man confronts J.D. with the status of being a doctor. Why should he be thanked, but no one else? This question arises for J.D. later in this episode, and a certain arrogance is also reflected.
Additionally, the scenes with the bouquets are quite memorable and provide for good slapstick humor, as a situation is created that one usually does not witness in the hospital.
