The Elder Scrolls Online provides a good reason to wreak havoc in PvP now: The Midyear Mayhem. As every year, there are cool rewards that you can earn only during the event.
What kind of event is this? On June 24, 2021, the annual Midyear Mayhem starts in ESO. Until July 6, you can earn double experience and alliance points as well as unique items. To participate, you just need to sign up for the event and engage in PvP battles in the battlegrounds, during the Alliance War, and in the Imperial City.
How do you participate in the event? To gain the benefits of the Mayhem, you need to follow these steps:
- Get the quest “Details on the Midyear Mayhem” from the Crown Store
- Travel to your faction’s main gate in the Alliance War in Cyrodiil
- Find the quest giver “Priestess Maera”
- Complete the quest to receive your scroll about Pelinal’s Ferocity and Pelinal’s Midyear Gift.
- Activate the scroll to receive two hours of a 100% bonus on alliance points and XP in PvP
By the way, you can renew the scroll repeatedly once the timer runs out.

Special Loot and Bonuses for the Midyear Mayhem PvP Event
What can you get this year? As always, there are tons of items to loot by competing in PvP. Particularly cool are:
- Special shields with your faction’s banner
- Pages for the Ebony Style
- Midyear Laurel Wreath of the Victor
Get the new personality: You can also earn Event Tickets by completing daily quests in Cyrodiil and on the battlegrounds or in a district of the Imperial City. These tickets can be exchanged with the Impresario for special items, including the three fragments of the Deadlands Fire Walker personality and the unstable morphing star needed for it.
If you want to transform your hero into a burning abomination from within, then this reward is just right for you. And with a bit of luck, you can grab a few of the new achievements in PvP and thus unlock premium goodies from loot boxes.
The Midyear Mayhem is just one of many events that take place in ESO in 2021. In addition to the PvP massacre, there will be more substantial innovations. Among them is a completely new region coming into the game in Q4.
