ESO brings 9 new sets with the new DLC Firesong – Brings fresh wind into Magicka builds

On November 1, 2022, the new Update 36 Firesong for the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online will be released. This update also brings new equipment sets and Mythic Items. One item even changes the consumption of stamina and magicka. MeinMMO explains why this is so exciting.

What new sets can you expect in Firesong? The new update unlocks the area of Galen, above High Isle. There you can expect 3 craftable sets, 3 sets from the open world of Galen, and also 3 new mythic items.

The new craftable sets in ESO Firesong

Where can I find the crafting stations in Galen (Firesong)? At the southernmost point of Galen, near the old Mornard Port, you will find the crafting tables for the “Old Growth Brewer” set. The best way to reach them is via the Eastern Shore Wayshrine or the Vastyr Outskirts Wayshrine.

The crafting tables for the “Chimeric Rectification” set can be found at the Castle Avrippe in the northwest. You can reach the location via the Y’ffres Path Wayshrine. Right next to it, you will find the crafting stations.

The Oak Forge is located in the center of the island. Here are the crafting stations for the “Claw of the Forest Ghost” set. Travel to the Llanshara Wayshrine and move from there westward.

What attributes do the craftable sets from Firesong have? Let’s take a closer look at the sets.

• Chimeric Rectification
  • 2 – 1,096 maximum magicka
  • 3 – 1,206 maximum health
  • 4 – 1,096 maximum stamina
  • 5 – If you restore resources with a fully charged heavy attack, 2,363 of the restored resource will also be restored to the three allies closest to your target.

• Old Growth Brewer
  • 2 – 129 stamina regeneration
  • 3 – 129 magicka regeneration
  • 4 – 129 health regeneration
  • 5 – After drinking a potion, you gain 245 magicka, stamina, and health regeneration for 45 seconds.

• Claw of the Forest Ghost
  • 2 – 657 critical strike rating
  • 3 – 129 spell and weapon power
  • 4 – 657 critical strike rating
  • 5 – 2,037 critical strike rating for class abilities.

The Old Growth Brewer could become interesting where resource regeneration is essential. Hence, it might be used for PvP or duels.

Open World Sets of Galen in Firesong

You can obtain pieces of these sets from all world bosses and bosses in public dungeons. You can also find them in treasure chests, in loots, or Psijic portals.

• Backstreets Gourmet (Light)
  • 2 – 657 critical strike rating
  • 3 – 657 critical strike rating
  • 4 – 129 spell and weapon power
  • 5 – While affected by a food buff, your critical damage and critical healing are increased by 13%.

• Phoenix Moth Theurg (Medium)
  • 2 – 129 stamina regeneration
  • 3 – 129 stamina regeneration
  • 4 – 1,096 maximum stamina
  • 5 – If you heal yourself or an ally, the target gains minor courage and minor force for 10 seconds, increasing their spell and weapon power by 215 and their critical damage by 10%. This effect can occur once every 12 seconds per target.

• Bastion of Draoife (Heavy)
  • 2 – 1,096 maximum stamina
  • 3 – 1,206 maximum health
  • 4 – 1,096 maximum stamina
  • 5 – If you block an attack, you gain a bend for 10 seconds from a maximum of 3 stacks. You can gain up to 1 stack every 0.5 seconds. Increases your magicka and stamina regeneration per stack of bend by 106.

Mythic Items in Firesong

The antiquity system allows you to obtain the so-called mythic items. To do this, you need to find and uncover the corresponding 5 traces.

Here are the mythic items listed that are new with the upcoming DLC Firesong:

• Faunstreich (Wams)
  • If you sprint for 1 second continuously, you are granted the ability to pass through enemies. Enemies you pass through are mesmerized for 4 seconds, removing their ability to attack or use abilities while moving towards you. Mesmerizing an enemy in this way grants you 678 stamina, magicka, and heals you for 692 health. Mesmerizing an enemy will break your stealth.

• Sturmwebertollen (Leggings)
  • Grants 300 magicka regeneration. Sprinting, dodging, power strikes, breaking free, sneaking, and blocking now consume magicka instead of stamina. While blocking, sneaking, or sprinting, you do not recover magicka. You regenerate stamina while sneaking, blocking, and sprinting.

• Syrabanns Schutz (Belt)
  • While you are wielding, you cannot move. Wielding creates a 12-meter area of protection. For allies within this area, their block mitigation is increased by 30% and their health regeneration by 950.
    (The block mitigation and health regeneration apply only to allies, not the set wearer. If you combine “Shield Wall” with this effect, you will not be able to move while the ultimate ability is active.)
