Until October 17th, the mini-event, the Explorer’s Celebration, is still ongoing in the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online. Here on MeinMMO, you can find out how to get the most out of the event.
What is the Explorer’s Celebration? This is a mini-event in ESO where you get some passive bonuses. Unlike larger events, there are no event tickets or collectible items from the Impresario this time.
Until when does the event last? The event runs until October 17th at 4 PM CEST.
This is how you can participate in the Explorer’s Celebration
This time it’s super simple. You don’t have to do anything except play ESO actively. To receive double gold, experience, and resources, you need to earn them in general. You will learn where to find them in abundance.
These rewards are available during the Explorer’s Celebration
These passive bonuses await you:
- increased yields from resource nodes (fishing and loot materials like leather are excluded)
- + 100 % experience from all sources (can be combined with potions, scrolls, etc.)
- + 100 % gold from slain enemies, quest rewards, and others
Unlike many other events, there are no special quests, achievements, or collectibles, event tickets, or items available from the Impresario. That’s why we refer to this event as a mini-event.
This is how you can loot as much as possible before the event ends
Depending on what is most important to you – gold, experience, or resources – you can focus on different areas. Let’s start with gold.
Crafting dailies yield 10,150 gold per day
If all goes well, you will receive a total of 10,150 gold for all 7 crafting dailies, along with other valuable materials and recipes. The amount of gold you receive for completing the quests depends on your character’s level, the skill line level, and the active green champion points.
This is how you secure all 10,150 gold:
- Character level 50
- Crafting skill line at level 50
- Champion point ‘Gilded Fingers’: Increases gold received per level by 2 %.
The 1st random dungeon currently gives 202,094 experience points
You can further increase this experience. The current bonus can be combined with XP potions or XP scrolls.

Farming resources in older, less-visited areas
Where it is empty, there is more for you. And there you can gather resources undisturbed. Therefore, especially check in older areas that are currently less crowded. Additionally, you can increase your loot and make looting easier with the following champion points:
- Master Gatherer: Reduces the time you need to harvest per level by 10 %.
- Abundant Yield: You have a 10 % chance per level to receive double yields from normal resource nodes.
