When do the celebrations for the Dark Heart of Skyrim start? They begin on Thursday, November 17 at 4:00 PM CET and run until Tuesday, November 29 at 4:00 PM CET.
What are the celebrations for the Dark Heart of Skyrim? It is an event centered around Western Skyrim and the Rift. There is no experience bonus for this event. However, there are plenty of extra rewards from the Gray Scales loot crates.
How to participate in the celebrations for the Dark Heart of Skyrim
Where does the event take place? For this event, you need to head to Western Skyrim or the Rift. There you can complete daily quests, defeat world bosses and dungeon bosses, or simply gather resource nodes while exploring.
It’s best to start with the introductory quest for the event.
Where do I get the first quest? The introductory quest called “Bloody Reunion” can be acquired for free from the Crown Store. Alternatively, you can go to the Impresario’s tent or seek out the Dark Elf Mel Adrys, who is located near Karthwatch.

You can expect many rewards related to Skyrim. But there is one reward that is particularly exciting. It allows you for the first time in ESO to determine whether it is day or night (and many times in between).
With the Hourglass of Alkosh, you can determine the time of day in your home.

You can earn 2 event tickets per day during the event. In total, that amounts to 26 event tickets over the entire event period.
Tips and tricks to earn many rewards during the event
Accept both quests for Storms of Gram
If you accept the daily Storm’s Quest both in the Rift (Markarth) and in Western Skyrim (Solitude), you can complete both quests with only one Storm. It doesn’t matter if it is a storm in the Rift or Western Skyrim.
This way, you can secure both event tickets and the daily glorious crate with Gray Scales Loot at once.
Form a group to share daily quests
Each player (or character) can only receive one quest per quest giver each day. However, that doesn’t mean there isn’t a possibility of completing additional daily quests. You need another player to share that quest with you. So it’s best to form a group with which you can complete the quests.
If you can’t find a group, keep an eye on the zone chat. Someone is probably already looking for more players. Otherwise, just make a request in the zone chat yourself.
Keep in mind the maximum number of event tickets
You can collect a total of only 12 event tickets. Beyond that, the tickets unfortunately expire. So make sure to spend your tickets before you can’t collect any more.
Trade items within your community or guild
Of course, you will occasionally get the same reward more than once. But that’s not a problem. Because you can easily trade with other players. Some are likely to be in the same boat.
Check the guild stores
If you really have no time to play before the event ends, then visit the guild stores. Currently, you can find many of the rewards at low prices.
