What are the other advantages of self-healing? Healing yourself can also be cheaper. The Grizzly First Aid Kit is, for example, reusable and therefore very cost-effective.
Moreover, you improve your healing skill when you heal yourself, allowing you to level up faster. If you let the Therapist heal you, it won’t contribute anything to your healing skill.
However, you must always decide for yourself whether it is more important for you to level up quickly or simply to be healed quickly. Especially in the first 10 levels of the game, it makes sense to level up faster to unlock the flea market. But in the end, you decide how you want to progress in Escape from Tarkov.
