German players had to wait a long time for a translation, but now you can also experience the fast and heated battles of the shooter in German.
What happened? About a year ago, the development team Battlestate announced that they were preparing a translation of the online shooter Escape from Tarkov. But then it went quiet. Now, out of nowhere, the game is surprisingly playable in German.
Has everything been translated? The localization team has worked hard on the translation. However, they state that errors may still occur. If you find one, you can report it via the new “localization forum“, and the team will address it as soon as possible.
Can fans offer more help? Not only can you help with errors. If you have suggestions for improvement or don’t like certain formulations, please let the team know as well. In the end, a very good translation of the online shooter should emerge that satisfies everyone.
Players express satisfaction
This is how players are reacting: The German community of Escape from Tarkov is surprised that the German localization was suddenly released. The majority of fans are excited and look forward to finally playing Escape from Tarkov in German.
However, one question remains open: Will there be subtitles for the Russian voice acting? The enemies currently shout their commands and insults in Russian, which feels authentic. However, many fans would like to understand what is being said. Whether and how this will be translated and whether there will perhaps be subtitles is currently unclear.
At the moment, fans of Escape from Tarkov are still waiting for the start of the open beta.
