Escape from Tarkov has shown a new trailer at the PC Gaming Show. The trailer features 2 things that some might have thought would never come.
What kind of trailer is this? At the PC Gaming Show, the developers of Escape from Tarkov showed a trailer titled On the Edge of Darkness. The trailer is accompanied by a narrator and gives an indication right from the start that the story being told in the game is slowly getting a beginning and an end.
The trailer features various combat scenes while the narrator explains the state of affairs in Russian. We last played Escape from Tarkov: Arena, the EFT spin-off, but a lot has happened in Tarkov since then.
The conflict in Tarkov would flare up again, and one wouldn’t know how it would all end. It appears that the narrator of the trailer is the character Prapor, but that’s not all, as there were two details to discover in the trailer.

For a brief moment, two long-awaited things can be seen
What can be seen? In the trailer, a map showing all play areas of Escape from Tarkov is displayed. What’s interesting is the representation. The locations appear one by one and are connected by a kind of path, as if one had to walk them.
This could be an indication of the long-awaited feature of a cohesive game world, where you can move from one zone to another or even have a complete open world in front of you.
Accordingly, one would have to walk the following route:
Ground Zero → Streets of Tarkov → Interchange → Customs → Factory → Woods → Reserve → Lighthouse → Shoreline → Terminal
What about Terminal? Not only was Terminal displayed on the map, but there was also the symbol of a lock next to it, which opens as if one is unlocking the map. So it might be that Escape from Tarkov will soon receive the new map.
The name may be somewhat misleading, as according to information from the EFT fandom, it is not an airport area, but rather a “large part of the port area.” The trailer ends with the words “And who knows? Maybe you are the one who finds a way to escape Tarkov,” which fits the theories that one may indeed be able to escape Tarkov there.
In the video, the two contents that fans have been waiting for years are just scratched; there was no real gameplay or more information seen regarding the contents.
