As is often the case, soon after the release of major games, there are speculations about possible DLCs. Elden Ring is one such case, but the Twitch streamer Elajjaz may have now discovered real clues.
Are DLCs for Elden Ring confirmed at all? No. Currently, there are no official statements regarding possible content that could follow after the release of Elden Ring.
- However, numerous fans assume that expansions are almost certain. Previous games from FromSoftware, such as Dark Souls or Bloodborne, have always been expanded with at least one major addon. Sekiro is the only exception – and it was the most linear of the mentioned titles.
- Given the sheer size of the open world in Elden Ring and how much of the vast map is still undiscovered, many believe DLCs are almost certain. A large part is not even accessible, which brings many possibilities.
- Therefore, some players have already been searching for potential areas for expansions since the release. The Twitch streamer Elajjaz recently used a newly discovered horse glitch to investigate a suspicion. In doing so, he found something.

Is there a DLC area in the center of the ocean crater?
This is the suspicious spot: Elajjaz rode across the central ocean of the Between Lands using a horse glitch.
On the map, there is a huge cloud cover in its center, as you would see in unexplored areas. However, there are some elements that already seem suspicious to numerous players. Suspicious enough that there are speculations about it.
The streamer investigated this further. Upon arriving at the center, he found a dark area in the sea.
What could this be? Basically, pretty much anything. It may be that some things were removed during development. Perhaps it is simply a graphic glitch or a place that was overlooked by the developers or intentionally left that way.
After all, it is not intended to travel there easily. Nonetheless, the streamer mentions some plausible reasons that the spot is more than just an empty area on the map:
- Surrounding the area are the large towers of the Between Lands, where players can activate their great runes.
- Strangely enough, these are placed around the central spot, at the coasts of the respective areas.
- It seems as if they were intentionally placed around the center.
- Furthermore, it is peculiar that FromSoftware has placed the cloud cover directly above this spot.
- Because these clouds are otherwise only seen at the edges of the map or over areas that still need to be explored.
So far, all of this is just evidence, of course. But that will be enough to fuel speculations in the community. This is also reflected in the corresponding reddit post.
Here, users are already actively guessing what might be hidden there or what could appear. They are relying on known data miners like Zullie the Witch, who has already solved other puzzles in the action RPG.
