Just like the game itself, the character editor in Elden Ring is very extensive. If at some point during your time in the latest game from FromSoftware you want to change your character’s appearance, you can easily do so afterwards.
Whether you just want to tweak small details or want to shine in a completely new splendor, with this method there are no limits. You can also subsequently change the name, age, or gender.

Elden Ring: Here’s how you can change your character’s appearance
To change your character’s appearance in Elden Ring, you need to visit the Sights of Grace at Roundtable Hold and find the Murky Mirror Stand. It is located in the same room as Fia, the lady with a not entirely innocent cuddling tendency.
How do I get to the right place? The mirror with which you can change your character is located at Roundtable Hold, which is also called the Table of Grace.
Once you have been there, you can use the fast travel feature on the map to return to the Table of Grace at any time. You just need to select the circular insignia in the lower left corner of the map screen.
If you haven’t been to the Table of Grace yet, you must first receive the invitation to visit it. When this invitation comes is currently unclear, but it seems to be related to the number of Sites of Grace you have visited.

Once you have been to the Table of Grace, you can return at any time using the fast travel feature on the map.
Here are the steps you need to follow:
- Go to Roundtable Hold. To do this, go to the corner at the bottom left of the map, where you see a circular insignia. In the center of this insignia, you can select the Table of Grace as a travel location.
- Upon arriving at Roundtable Hold, take the passage left of the fireplace.
- Now you should be in the hallway with the blacksmith. Walk through the door directly in front of you into Fia’s bedroom.
- On the wall to the right from the entrance door is a murky mirror.
- Stand in front of the mirror and interact with it.

The ability to completely change a character afterwards has many advantages:
