What is Elden Ring? This is the latest game from the creators of the Soulslike genre, which was established with Dark Souls. FromSoftware, the studio behind it, is also known for other critically acclaimed titles like Sekiro and Bloodborne.
Like Dark Souls and Bloodborne, Elden Ring is an action RPG played from the third-person perspective. You choose a class, create a character, and venture into the open game world.

The download size likely includes the Day 1 patch for Elden Ring.
The specs sparked heated discussions in the community. Many users had assumed that Elden Ring would require 8 GB of RAM, as was the case with recent titles like Sekiro.
In Elden Ring, however, 12 GB of RAM is required – a very frustrating fact for many fans. There are also concerns about the versions for PS4 and Xbox One.
This excludes many weaker PCs, even though Elden Ring looks to some players barely better than the 7-year-old Dark Souls 3.
When does Elden Ring come out? The latest game from developer FromSoftware will be released on February 25. Then players can enter the Lands Between and explore the dark fantasy world.
