Monster Hunter World is getting the Iceborne expansion in September, and it can now be pre-ordered. There is even a Collector’s Edition, which is a must-have for any fan. The problem is: the edition is exclusive to the Japanese market.
This edition is about: Anyone who loves Monster Hunter World shouldn’t miss this edition, as it includes numerous gadgets from the game world that look incredibly cool.
The Master Edition, as it is called by Capcom, can only be ordered from Japanese shops and costs about 180€.
What’s included in the coolest edition of Monster Hunter World Iceborne
What does the edition bring? The 180€ box contains numerous highlights. Here’s a sneak peek:
- The game and the expansion
- A download code for the Deluxe bonus package
- A figure of Velkhana, the monster on the cover of Iceborne
- A design art book of the monsters
- A soundtrack CD
- A metal plate with logo
- A Palico figure, serving as a stand for your controller or phone
- When purchased at Capcom’s shop: A bonus keychain
This is the highlight: The Palico figure is clearly a highlight here. The Palicos are your cute companions in Monster Hunter World, who can even find useful gadgets.
Now the little monsters are also available as a figure in the Master Edition. The Palico can hold your controller when you’re not gaming. Alternatively, you can also use it as a phone holder.
The figure is about 15 cm tall. In Japan, you can even buy the Palico separately.
Is the edition also available in Germany? We will also receive a Master Edition on the European market. However, it only contains the base game and the expansion.
An edition with various gadgets is not available. You can only check this out at the Japanese store of Capcom.
When will the Iceborne expansion be released? Iceborne will be released for PS4 and Xbox One on September 6.
