On Monday, March 31, 2025, many players of EA FC 25 complain about the servers, as they cannot connect to Ultimate Team. EA has commented on the server downtime.
Which modes are affected by the server downtime? Currently, there appear to be connection issues only with Ultimate Team. Fans are complaining on social media about disconnects or that they cannot log in at all.
When will the servers in Ultimate Team be back online? In the meantime, EA Sports has responded to the numerous problem reports and posted on their support channel on X:

Can you still access your Ultimate Team? Yes, the Web App and the Companion App for EA FC 25 seem to continue to work after some personal tests.

Since the server issues only affect Ultimate Team, you can still play other online modes like clubs or online seasons.
Since EA Sports had announced the new Title Update 12 on X a few hours earlier, one could suspect that the server issues were related. However, that does not appear to be the case. The last Title Update 11 fixed various issues with the transfer markets in Ultimate Team and career mode.
