When does the first Weekend League in EA FC 24 start? The first Weekend League starts now on Friday, October 6, 2023, at 09:00 AM. Originally, the game indicated the start for September 29, but now EA decided to postpone the first Weekend League.
Tough first Weekend League in EA FC 24 ahead
Things to consider: On September 29, is only the full release of EA FC 24. Accordingly, qualifying for the finals will be difficult, as you first need to gather Champions points in Rivals and pass the qualification for the Champions Finals.
Those who have already been participating since the Early Access may have better chances but should be prepared to face very strong opponents. Because even though the first Weekend League has at least been postponed by a week: Qualifying in the short time and bringing a strong team is not easy.
Accordingly, one should think carefully about whether to attempt to qualify for the Weekend League.
How to qualify for the Weekend League
How do you get into the Champions Finals? To reach the finals, you must go through several steps.
- Collect Champions points in Division Rivals mode. You need a total of 1,250 Champions points.
- Once you have reached the points, you enter the qualification for the finals. There you must achieve at least rank V. This is awarded for 20 qualification points.
- Each victory brings 4 qualification points
- Each loss brings one point
- You have a total of 10 matches to get the 20 points in qualification
- If you reach the necessary rank in qualification, you can participate in the Weekend League.
This year there is also a change in the FUT Champions rewards: The red player picks have been removed, and currently, you will receive packs and pro picks from different gold players with a minimum rating instead.
