EA FC 24 comes with several new features. At the beginning of the week, in cooperation with Sky and DAZN, the new Pundit Pick was introduced, which allows TV experts to upgrade one player for Ultimate Team every month.
What is the Pundit Pick? The new feature is a player selection that alternates monthly for a game in the Premier League or LaLiga. The TV experts from DAZN and Sky are mostly former professional footballers. The first Pundit Pick was determined by Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher from the match Newcastle United against FC Arsenal as part of the 11th matchday of the Premier League.

Gordon is the first Pundit Pick, gets significant upgrade
Who is the first Pundit Pick? The first expert selection went to left winger Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United. Gordon scored the golden goal in the top match of the eleventh matchday for a close 1:0 victory against FC Arsenal.
On Tuesday, November 7th, the first SBC was released that came with a substantial upgrade for Anthony Gordon. For Pundit Pick Gordon, you need to submit an 83-rated and 84-rated team. The SBC is currently at around 62,000 coins.
How significant is the upgrade? Gordon moved from a 75-rated gold card to an 84-rated overall score. This means that the Pundit Pick has a stronger improvement than a regular Team of the Week upgrade. The values for shooting, passing, dribbling, physicality, and defending saw a noticeable increase, with the shooting stat rising by 14 points.
Additionally, Gordon also received two new playstyles. Previously, he only had the playstyle “Raserei” (Rage), but now he also has the playstyles “Schneller Schritt” (Quick Step) and “First Touch”.

In addition to improved stats and additional playstyles, there is also an upgrade to his skill stars. Gordon now boasts four instead of three stars for his special moves on his Pundit Pick card.

EA Sports announces criteria for Pundit Pick
Which players are eligible? On the official site, EA has elaborated on the selection process for the new Pundit Pick. Interestingly, all players from both teams can be considered for the upgrade, regardless of whether they performed in the featured game or not.
In plain English, this means that experts can also award a player with the Pundit Pick who, regardless of the decisive match, they believe performed well throughout the season or simply select one of their personal favorites. This could be a good way to recognize players with special cards who might otherwise fly under the radar in the future.
