The E3 2021 has finally officially started and tonight, on June 13th, the eagerly awaited joint press conference of Xbox and Bethesda took place. MeinMMO followed the event live for you with this ticker and ensures with this overview that you won’t miss any important announcement or trailer from the big presentation.
What’s the press conference all about? With the E3 2021, one of the most important video game fairs of the year has now begun. In this context, various prominent figures from the video game industry hold their press conferences and present exciting news about their games.
What many were curious about: After Ubisoft already had its turn, showing among other things the new co-op shooter Rainbow Six: Extraction and a first trailer for Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, today, on June 13th, it was Bethesda and Microsoft’s turn with Xbox.
Both companies have huge franchises in their portfolio, such as the Halo series, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, or Age of Empires. And the shows of both companies have often been real highlights in the past. Also, this time we were not disappointed at the big joint conference.
When did it start? On the evening of June 13th, at 7:00 PM German time. The press conference was shown in a live stream, but MeinMMO also followed the whole event live here in the ticker and accompanied the event additionally with current news.

Update, 8:05 PM: For all flying enthusiasts: A new trailer shows the Microsoft Flight Simulator, which finally lands on July 27, 2021 on the Xbox Series X and S! An addon to Maverick, the sequel to the cult film Top Gun, will be released in the coming autumn. The gameplay is actually from the Xbox Series X!

Update, 7:59 PM: The new JRPG Eyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes offers exciting adventures in pixel art style and has now been announced:
Update, 7:58 PM: Among Us celebrates its 3rd birthday on June 15. As a gift to players, the multiplayer title is bringing game lobbies for 15 players to all available platforms including the Windows Store and Xbox Game Pass for PC. For Xbox consoles, it will come later this year – also for Xbox Game Pass and Cloud.
Update, 7:57 PM: The Shroom & Doom update for the colorful co-op survival game Grounded is currently being presented in a new trailer. It will come on June 30 and can also be played via Xbox Game Pass.

Update, 7:33 PM: There’s a first look at a new brawler featuring cute little animals – Party Animals. It’s coming in 2022 and is supposed to be included in the Game Pass from day 1. At first glance, it looks like the Battle Royale Fall Guys with cuddly toys.

Update, 7:21 PM: Yakuza – Like a Dragon is now coming to Game Pass – accordingly, there is a new trailer!
Update, 7:18 PM: The pirate game Sea of Thieves is getting a cool crossover that couldn’t have been better – with Pirates of the Caribbean and Capt’n Jack Sparrow! Update, 7:17 PM: The announcement of a new Xbox Exclusive from Avalanche Studios – Contraband. This is a co-op shooter from Avalanche Studios, the creators of the Just Cause games and Rage 2. The story seems to take place in the 1970s, where you take on the role of a smuggler.
Update, 7:15 PM: Now there’s a gameplay trailer for Back4Blood – a co-op survival shooter with a zombie setting. It is clear to see what the spiritual predecessor was – the cult game Left4Dead. Update, 7:09 PM: Now there is another highlight right at the beginning – the Xbox launch-exclusive post-apocalyptic RPG shooter Stalker 2 – Heart of Chernobyl! We get a first real look at the gameplay, which seems to recall the Metro series more than the old Stalker games at first glance. Update, 7:04 PM: After a brief welcome, a new RPG kicks off – Starfield! This is Bethesda’s first new IP in 25 years. Many have been eagerly waiting for this, it is expected to be one of today’s biggest highlights. Now there’s finally a first trailer:
It is set to be released for Xbox and PC and will send you on an epic adventure to the stars starting November 11, 2022. The story of Starfield takes place hundreds of years in the future. Humanity has made the leap into space and has spaceships. Bethesda described Starfield as a game “where you can be anything you want and go wherever you want” and as a game with “unparalleled freedom.”
