What is Dying Light 2? The zombie hunt continues. You play from a first-person perspective in an open world filled with missions. As you may know from Dying Light, parkour plays a big role. You jump from building to building, climb, dive, and sprint through the city while constantly fighting against zombies or even humans.
In the new installment, the story is expected to play a larger role than in its predecessor. You will have room for decisions. But consider these carefully, as your decisions will affect the progression of the story and your environment. A “normal” neighborhood can turn into a totalitarian camp or a flourishing black market of the underworld.
Especially at night, the atmosphere changes when the nasty, deadly zombies emerge from their hiding places and hunt you.
During the story, you will explore the city at a rapid pace and with acrobatic feats to complete various tasks, gather resources, or protect people. A co-op mode allows you to play Dying Light 2 with up to three other players for a total of four.
Dying Light 2 was announced at E3 2018. The trailer for the gameplay world premiere has now generated almost 5 million views on YouTube.

Dying Light 2 – Differences and Comparisons to Dying Light
What’s new: As you would expect from a sequel, the game will change and hopefully improve for you. Here is what we already know about it:
Parkour: Dying Light 2 is said to have twice as many parkour moves. This was revealed in the 26-minute gameplay demo. Some examples can be seen as Aiden runs over rooftops or avoids infected. Aiden can also dive through cracks, slide under tables, and use a loose pipe as a jumping aid.
Additionally, you can use ropes or cables to swing through the area. In addition to running, wall runs, jumping, sliding, and climbing. Players can even stab blades into a banner and then slide down while cutting the banner.
Map Size: The map where you can go wild is said to be, according to Chief Technology Officer Pawel Rohleder, four times larger than its predecessor. He stated this in an interview with Nvidia (via YouTube).
Story Length: In an interview with Prankster101, Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektala revealed information about the story from Dying Light 2. To complete the main story, it will take about 15 to 20 hours. Completionists who like to finish everything that can be done should plan for up to 100 hours or more.
“It is very difficult to measure [the required time] in an open-world game. How long it actually takes to finish the game depends on the things that happen between point A and point B of a quest, so basically, it’s up to you how you play it,” explains Smektala.
