In time for the release, there is a launch trailer for Dragon’s Dogma 2, which evokes the adventures with Geralt in The Witcher: There are new monsters and an epic story is teased.
What can be seen in the trailer? The trailer is divided into several parts: gameplay scenes and mosaics merging together as if by ghostly hands.
The colorful stained glass pieces tell an epic story of the people’s struggle against monsters, primarily against a large red dragon. The voice-over summons the player character: as the chosen hero, it is now time to take one’s place among the worthy and fulfill one’s destiny.
The gameplay scenes interspersed between the mosaic sequences seem to be a mix of cutscenes and actual gameplay: a character overlooks the land from a bridge, a ruler looks down on his subjects, and a priestess prays before a fire bowl. There are also some combat scenes to see.

What kind of monsters can be seen? The most prominent creature in the entire trailer is the large red dragon. This one can be seen at the end of the trailer in gameplay, but also as part of the large final mosaic battling the hero.
A Medusa is briefly visible as well. However, in the next frame, another scene is visible, and a player character is thrown by an ogre. Just a few seconds later, said player character is chasing a giant in an ancient-looking loincloth.
In the voice-over, the player character is also referred to as one of the chosen ones with great power and magic. There is even talk of the slayer of monsters
. Accordingly, it will presumably be part of your task to slay monster after monster like Geralt of Riva from The Witcher game series.
