If you ask the streamer Dr DisRespect, the shotgun “Peacekeeper” from Apex Legends is probably the worst shotgun in all video games. During the stream, he had a meltdown.
Who is it about? The streamer Dr DisRespect is very popular in the Twitch scene. Recently, he hosted a tournament in Apex Legends that Ninja won. According to Dr DisRespect, the new BR game still has some issues. For example, the Peacekeeper shotgun. To put it mildly, he is dissatisfied with the performance of the shotgun.
In one of his streaming highlights, he is in a direct duel with another player. With the shotgun, he hits the opponent 3 times, but the opponent does not go down. Instead, he knocks Dr DisRespect off his feet. He gets upset, slams his desk, and exclaims “The Peacemaker shotgun is terrible!”
Then he stands up and walks out of the frame. From the background, viewers can still hear him angrily shouting “Damn 3 headshots!”
What happens after the outburst? Shortly after, he sits back at his desk and is visible on the stream. Then he gives a speech in which he complains about the state of the shotgun:
This could be the worst shotgun in the history of video games. The Peacemaker [Peacekeeper] is terrible. It is terrible. The delay of it, everything. I hate it. That was 3 headshots.
Do players also find the weapon that bad? On Reddit, the weapons of Apex Legends are actively discussed. In the question of the best loadout, the Peacekeeper is often seen and chosen as a reliable shotgun. Others prefer the legendary Mastiff.
This is what Reddit user NYIY22 writes: “I love the Peacekeeper, but the Mastiff has always shredded everything for me. I’ve taken down a few squads in small rooms and hallways with this beast.”
So maybe Dr DisRespect has just had a lot of bad luck with the Peacekeeper so far.
