The director Zack Snyder reported in an interview at gamescom that he got into Fortnite – together with his son. His son didn’t like it, but Snyder was even more immersed in the game.
On Twitter, a clip of an interview was posted by IGN on August 23. With IGN, the director of “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” chats at gamescom about Fortnite. Snyder says he has dived pretty deep into the game.

Zack Snyder plays character from Rick and Morty in Fortnite
Zack Snyder is so deeply immersed in Fortnite: In the interview, which was posted as a clip on X (formerly Twitter), Zack Snyder talks about the game he has totally immersed himself in. He got into Fortnite together with his son. He wanted to play with him, but his son didn’t like the game.
So Snyder ultimately continued playing alone. “I fell into a nasty rabbit hole with Fortnite, in the sense that I dived pretty deep.” said Snyder.
In the interview, he is then asked about his playstyle. He plays Fortnite without building. As a character, he chose Meeseeks from Rick and Morty.
How does the community react? On X, there are over 100 comments under the post. A few users are posting memes from the series “Rick and Morty.” User Lautaro seems to refer to the rabbit hole described by Snyder and writes: “We have all been there.”
A few users write that he (now) is their favorite director. Others comment that they also game together with their children.
