The Sorceresses currently lead the score in the leaderboards in Diablo 4. This is mainly due to an item that significantly increases damage. You can find out more about it here at MeinMMO.
In the leaderboards of Diablo 4, each class fights for their positions at the top. However, when compared to each other, it becomes evident that the Sorceresses have amassed the most points. This was also the case in the first week of the Gauntlet.
The top players in the Sorcerer leaderboard all play relatively similar builds. What they all have in common is the combination of three items that cause enormous damage. One of the items is perfectly suited for the Gauntlet run with its affixes, where speed and strategy are the focus.
In the video, you can learn more about the leaderboards:
The “Robes of the Infinite” is perfect for the Gauntlet
What kind of item is this? It is the chest piece “Robes of the Infinite”, which increases your damage and allows you to pull enemies towards you after teleporting and stun them.
The chest piece specifically ensures in the Gauntlet dungeon that you have a speed boost with the teleportation that lets you move through the monster horde more quickly in the 8 minutes. You group your enemies together and stun them at the same time to then roast them with lightning. This combination makes Sorceresses incredibly strong.
The “Robes of the Infinite” have the following affixes:
- + Intelligence
- + Damage to nearby enemies
- + Damage to stunned enemies
- + Ranks for the passive skill “Glass Cannon”

Where can I best obtain the chest piece? You can currently farm the “Robes of the Infinite” specifically from two bosses in Diablo 4 – Lord Zir and Varshan. To summon Varshan, you need four materials (blackened femur, trembling hand, gurgling head, and a malevolent heart on WT4), while for Lord Zir you need exquisite blood.

What other items are suitable? Looking at the top players in the Sorceress leaderboard, it becomes clear that they not only have the unique item “Robes of the Infinite” in common. They also all wear the coveted Uber Unique “Harlequin’s Crown” and the unique ring “Tal Rasha’s Gleaming Ring.”
The Harlequin’s Crown is a headpiece, also known as “Shako”. This corresponds to the designation of the item type from Diablo 2, from where the helmet originates. What makes Shako so coveted is the legendary effect, as: The helmet grants you damage reduction and +4 ranks for all skills.
“Tal Rasha’s Gleaming Ring” is a unique item that you can farm at Varshan, just like the chest piece. The ring returned to Diablo 4 with 4 others in Season 2. They are based on abilities and mechanics introduced in Season 1 through the malevolent hearts.
The ring increases non-physical damage, critical hit chance, resource generation, and cooldown reaction. Additionally, you gain increased damage for a few seconds for every type of elemental damage you deal.
What builds do the top players play? Several players at the top of the solo Sorcerer leaderboard combine the Lightning Whip build with other skills, for example from the Blizzard build, which is currently the best boss killer for Sorcerers in Season 3.
The player in first place in normal mode plays the following skills:
- Blizzard
- Unstable Currents
- Lightning Spear
- Flame Shield
- Ice Armor
- Teleportation
Other players use Frostbolt, for example. The reason is that they can generate more stacks of Tal Rasha’s ring with the different elements. That is why the Gauntlet builds differ a bit from the top builds for the overall endgame.
The Blizzard build is one of the top builds in the endgame of Diablo 4 in Season 3. The builds at the top of the tier list prove themselves either through massive damage, their utility, or especially their effectiveness against tough enemies. Here you can find the tier list with the best builds in Diablo 4’s endgame.
