Can you play Diablo 4 on PC with players on PS4 or Xbox One? The question of crossplay arises among fans. Blizzard is trying to make this happen.
What’s new? One of the biggest announcements from BlizzCon 2019 was that Blizzard is officially working on Diablo 4, the successor to Diablo 3. So far, there are only initial details and no release date yet. The first testers have already shared their opinions on Diablo 4.

This is what Blizzard says about crossplay: In an interview with Telegraph , Blizzard Executive Producer Allen Adham responds to the topic. According to him, such a feature could indeed be present in Diablo 4.
“We are very much in favor of crossplay,” says Adham. “There are technical details and details we need to discuss with first parties. But it is our goal to have crossplay [in the game].”
In an interview with Venturebeat , Blizzard’s Lead Lighting Artist for Diablo 4, Sean Murphy explains: “We do not have an announcement yet. But this is a topic we are very interested in.”
So does Diablo 4 have crossplay? It seems that the team behind Diablo 4 is working hard to bring the cross-play feature between PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Possibly also to the next-gen consoles.
For Blizzard, crossplay should not be a problem: In general, Battle.Net handles crossplay across different platforms. Recently, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released on Battle.net, allowing shooter players to play together in a match, regardless of whether they are on PC, PS4, or Xbox One.
In Modern Warfare, there is a setting that allows you to enable and disable crossplay.
