The German Twitch streamer and Diablo expert wudijo recently answered some questions from fans about Diablo 4. There he explained, among other things, what improvements the game now needs. Many in the community appreciate the expert and his opinion, as few people know more about Diablo than wudijo.
Who is the expert?
- wudijo comes from Germany, streams regularly on Twitch, and is one of the experts of maxroll.gg, one of the most important websites about Diablo at all.
- Since Diablo 3 at the latest, wudijo is known worldwide in the Diablo community as someone with a lot of knowledge about the game.
- In Diablo 4, wudijo was the first player to reach level 100 in hardcore mode solo, only to lose his character shortly after due to a mistake.
This is what wudijo demands: In an AMA (“Ask Me Anything”) on Reddit, wudijo was asked which 3 features the developers should bring into the game to improve Diablo 4. The most important feature for him: a loot filter.
Diablo 4 overwhelms you with yellow items that become very important in the endgame from a certain point on. The problem here is that they can fluctuate between “extremely useless” and “better than everything else.” He says:
The amount of junk loot at high levels is discouraging. I want to be excited when I see an item glow in a different color based on my selection, instead of sifting through 1,000 items and then just selling them.
It is also important:
- Leaderboards with various goals such as nightmare dungeons or special challenges like kills on the final boss
- real trading, as it is currently still heavily restricted

But the most important thing is the loot filters. The feature must appear, and quickly, the expert demands. Furthermore, there must be a better way to specifically fish for legendaries and uniques.

Overall, wudijo seems to be extremely satisfied with the game according to the AMA. He praises that Diablo 4 has the best combat system of all ARPGs he knows. He even views the high gold costs in the game positively.
One of the major points of contention in the community, however, is still the endgame. Especially hardcore players criticize that there is too little to do, while casuals haven’t even arrived there yet. wudijo thinks the endgame consists of complaining about nerfs on Reddit.
The expert was also asked for his assessment of the classes. As he already stated in his personal tier list before the release, he sees the druid at the top, followed by the barbarian. This is mainly because both classes have so many variable builds.
