With the pre-order and open beta, all fans have the chance to test Diablo 4 themselves for the first time. MeinMMO will tell you what you need to know for the start of the beta.
The pre-order beta runs from March 17-20. The open beta for everyone runs from March 24-27. You can play on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. You can find more here Info on the open beta of Diablo 4.
The beta starts on both weekends on Friday at 5:00 PM and ends on Monday at 8:00 PM on March 20 or 9:00 PM on March 27.
Yes. On Wednesday, March 15 or March 22 at 5:00 PM German time, you can start the pre-download.
The beta is expected to require 45 GB of storage.
Diablo 4 supports full crossplay between platforms and generations as well as cross-progression. You can even play worldwide with others. In co-op, groups of up to 4 players can play together.

Start of the beta and content – What is included?
You can explore the prologue and the entire first act of Diablo 4 during both beta weekends. However, your level is capped at 25. After that, you can play as much as you want, but you won’t level up anymore.
Additionally, Ashava, one of the world bosses from Diablo 4, will be available on both Saturdays (March 18 and 25) at 6:00 PM, 8:00 PM, and 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM on the following Sundays. You can play alone or in a group of up to 4 players. Class selection is limited at least in the pre-order beta:
- in the pre-order beta, you can play Barbarian, Sorceress, and Huntress
- in the open beta, all 5 classes from Diablo 4 will be available
- up to 10 characters can be created per account
The progress will be carried over between the two beta weekends. So you can continue playing a character from the pre-order beta in the open beta. However, there will be a wipe afterwards.
Diablo 4 will finally be released on June 6, 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. You can find all the information about the release in our overview:
