Sometimes you don’t feel like playing with other people in Diablo 4 and just want to hack your way through the game solo. That’s why we asked you which class is best suited for solo play.
While playing Diablo 4 in a group can be fun, there is also an appeal to staying alone. We wanted to know from you in our survey which class you consider the best for a “solo run” – and 3,113 people voted.
Below we list the ranking that your votes resulted in – starting with the class that received the fewest votes to the class you consider the best for solo runs.
Rank 5 – Hunter
With 321 votes, 10% of you voted for the Hunter as the best solo class. The screw blade build of the Hunter is suitable for leveling quickly. And in the endgame tier list, the Hunter stands out with a build at the top: With the “Piercing Shot” build, you have solid range and are agile.
The ranged build relies on a fast succession of precise shots that take down single enemies just as quickly as large groups. But other builds are also suitable for solo runs in Diablo 4 due to their agility.
Rank 4 – Druid
You placed the Druid fourth in the voting – 556 of you, or 18%, see the Druid as the best class for solo play.
To level the Druid quickly, we have compiled a suitable build here. And one of the best builds for the Druid in the endgame is the storm build, because: Due to a new unique, it now has the potential to lead the tier list in Season 3.
As a storm Druid, you become a spellcaster standing in the middle of dozens of lightning strikes, roasting your enemies.
Rank 3 – Sorceress
For 19% of you (591 votes), the Sorceress is the best class to tackle Diablo 4 solo. For leveling, we recommend an aggressive electric whip build, where you can charge into the melee. In the endgame, three builds stand out, which prove themselves either through massive damage, their utility, or primarily their effectiveness against tough enemies.
A popular Sorceress build is the Blizzard build. Here, Sorceresses rely on Blizzard and barriers and hope to stand in the enemies while they punch them, or frozen opponents helplessly watch as they perish.
Rank 2 – Necromancer
With 670 votes (22%), the Necromancer takes second place among you. Melanie writes in the comments under our survey that she never plays solo. “I have my Golem that crushes everything, and my skeletons that help. For many of the small enemies, I don’t even have to turn around because they’re taken care of before I can even react.”
While many players in the endgame forego minions and switch to a bone spear or Infinimist build, the skeletons are particularly welcome companions for leveling up to level 50.
Rank 1 – Barbarian
With 975 votes (31%), the Barbarian is the top choice to tackle Diablo 4 solo. Among many players, the HotA Barbarian is a particularly popular build, which also leads the top endgame builds.
The HotA Barbarian, short for Hammer of the Ancients
, relies entirely on the eponymous skill. Through buffs and shouts, you make the blow so powerful that you simply erase all enemies around you. With this, you can deal damage in the billions.
Bert writes in his comment on MeinMMO: “Clearly the HotA Barb and the Blizzard Sorc.” And Zox notes that he never had problems with the Druid or Necromancer in solo play. He only played the Barbarian at the start of Diablo 4 until the first season started, but now he wants to try it out as well.
