In Diablo 4, there are numerous materials and items necessary for crafting and various activities. We will show you where you can most effectively farm tributes, oboluses, mats, glyphs, and other items for the endgame.
By the time you reach the endgame of Diablo 4, certain mats become more important, such as Angel’s Breath and Obduzit for crafting, as well as mats for summoning bosses. For your Paragon boards, you will also need glyphs and runes for your endgame builds. Oboluses also play an important role in Season 6, as you can currently get really strong items from the Curiosity Trader for them.

Where do I get important mats and items? In Diablo 4, there are various activities you can engage in during the endgame. Some of them are particularly well-suited for farming XP, while others reward you with important mats or strong gear.

Keep in mind that you need the Vessel of Hatred expansion if you want to visit the Undercity of Kurast and the co-op dungeon “Dark Citadel.” You can also convert or craft some mats. At the Alchemist, you have the option to turn Gem Fragments into other forms and craft items for summoning bosses from boss mats, crafting mats, and Khazra horns.
The hideout of your Mercenary is also a good point of contact for crafting mats, Scattered Prisms, aspects, and gear. Once you level up your mercenaries, you will have a larger selection at the trade in the hideout and receive various items and mats there.
